Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth ended in a No Contest Having earned their status as No. 1 contenders to the Unified Tag Team Championships, John Morrison & R-Truth dropped by Raw to battle current champions Big Show & The Miz. The match got underway after one of The Miz’s typically bombastic rants. In response, his former tag team partner Morrison and R-Truth double-teamed The “Cleveland Screamer” and sent him over the top rope. The SmackDown duo then punished The World’s Largest Athlete before heading up the entrance ramp after having put “Show-Miz” squarely in their place. |

Shortly after United States Champion The Miz joined forces with The World’s Largest Athlete, the impressive duo overcame D-Generation X to capture the illustrious Tag Team Titles. Retaining the championships in hard-fought defenses against both Michaels & Triple H and Mark Henry & MVP on Money Night Raw, the dominant mixture of power and resourcefulness turned its attention to Friday nights in search of new competition. Knowing that he could seek tag team contenders on any WWE show he wished, outspoken Unified Tag Team Champ The Miz arrived on SmackDown to mark his territory. Dolph Ziggler def. John Morrison and R-Truth in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match WWE NXT rookie David “A-List” Otunga accompanied his WWE Pro, R-Truth, as the rapping Superstar attempted to qualify for the WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Instead, it was Dolph Ziggler who captured the opportunity in a whirlwind Triple Threat Match. Although triumph seemed imminent for Morrison after he executed Starship Pain on Truth, Ziggler had enough presence of mind to pull The Guru of Greatness out of the ring and quickly made the cover himself |
